진찰 시 필요한 용어와 질병에 따른 증상과 통증의 표현

1. 진찰시 쓰는 용어

• Lie on your right side.: 오른쪽으로 누우세요.
• Left side.: 왼쪽으로 누우세요.

• Turn over.: 고개를 돌려 돌아 보세요.
• Turn around.: 도세요.

• Lean foreword.: 몸을 앞으로 굽혀 보세요.
• Lean backward.: 몸을 뒤로 젖혀 보세요.

• Sit up.: 일어나세요.

• Beathe deeply.: 숨을 깊이 들이 쉬세요.
• Breathe out.: 숨을 내 쉬세요.
• Breathe regular.: 보통으로 숨을 쉬세요.

• Open your mouth.: 입을 벌리세요.
• Show your tongue.: 혀를 보여 주세요.

• Swallow.: 삼키세요.

• Cough.: 기침해 보세요.

• This will not hurt.: 아프지 않을 겁니다.
• This will not hurt a bit.: 조금 아플 겁니다.

• I’d like to check your chest/abdomen region.: 가슴(배 부분)을 진찰하겠습니다.

• The examination is over.: 진찰이 끝났습니다.

• Please get dressed.: 옷을 입으세요.

• It is not anything serious.: 심한 것은 아닙니다.

• You will have to come back for more tests.: 다시 와서 좀 더 검사를 해야 되겠습니다.

• Please return for the results of the tests.: 검사 결과 보러 다시 오십시요.

 2. 증상 (Symptoms)

- 일반적 (General)

•   chills: 오한
•   fever: 열
•   fatigue: 피로함
•   excessive weight gain: 체중이 많이 늘다.
•   excessive weight loss: 체중이 많이 줄다.

- 특정 부위 (Specific)

* 피부

•   abscess: 종기, 종양
•   burning sensation: 화끈거림
•   discolouration: 변색
•   dry skin: 건조한 피부
•   itching: 가려움
•   scaling skin: 비늘이 생기는 피부
•   rash: 발진
•   sores: 상처가 궤양
•   bruise easily: 쉽게 멍듬
•   excessive perspiration: 땀이 많이 남
•   excessive loss of hair: 머리털이 많이 빠짐
•   dandruff: 비듬
•   diaper rash: 기저귀 발진
•   change in warts or mole: 사마귀나 점의 변화
•   sores that do not heal: 낫지 않은 궤양

* 신경계 증상

•   numbness: 감각이 없음(피부나 손발)
•   fatigue: 피로함
•   paralysis: 마비증상
•   dizziness: 현기증
•   headache: 두통
•   weakness: 허약함. 기운이 없음
•   tingling in limb: 팔, 다리에 찌릿찌릿한 느낌

•   trouble sleeping: 수면으로 고생함
•   confusion: 혼동

* 안과 증상 (eyes)

•   eye inflammation: 안염
•   blurred vision: 물체가 흐리게 보임
•   eye strain: 눈이 피로함
•   pain in the eye: 눈이 아픔

* 입과 치아 (mouth and teeth)

•   sores in lips: 입술위에 생긴 궤양
•   sore gums: 잇몸이 아프다
•   trouble chewing: 씹는데 문제가 있다
•   dental problems: 치아에 문제가 있다
•   toothache: 치통
•   sore mouth: 입안이 아프다

* 심장 순환기계 증상 (cardiovascular system)

•   chest pain: 가슴이 아픔
•   palpitation: 심장이 두근거림
•   shortness of breath: 숨이 가뿜
•   rapid heart beat: 심장이 빨리 뜀
•   irregular pulse: 맥박이 불규칙하게 뜀
•   high blood pressure: 고혈압
•   low blood pressure: 저혈압
•   swollen ankles: 발목이 붓다
•   varicose vain: 정맥류
•   pain radiation into arm or jaw: 통증이 턱이나 팔로 내려감

* 호흡기계 증상 (respiratory system)

•   trouble breathing: 숨쉬기가 어려움
•   persistent cough: 기침이 계속남
•   coughing up blood: 가래에 피가 나옴
•   excessive phlegm: 가래가 나옴
•   lung congestion: 폐울혈
•   noisy breathing: 숨소리가 거칠다.
•   history of tuberculosis: 폐결핵을 앓은 일이 있다.
•   shortness of breathing: 숨이 가뿜
•   wheezing: 휘파람소리가 나는 숨소리

* 근육 골격계 (muscular-skeletal system)

•   low back problems or pain: 아랫부분의 허리가 아픔
•   pain between shoulder: 양 어깨 중간 부위가 아픔
•   neck problems or pain: 목이 아픔
•   swollen joint: 관절이 부음
•   sore muscles: 근육이 아픔
•   weak muscles: 근육에 힘이 없음
•   difficulty while walking: 걷는데 힘이 없음
•   fractured bones: 뼈가 부러졌음
•   limited movement of limbs: 다리 운동에 제한을 느낌
•   dislocation: 뼈가 어긋남

* 소화기 내장계통 증상 (gastrointestinal system)

•   burping: 트림
•   heartburn: 속이쓰림
•   hiccups: 딸꾹질을 함
•   indigestion: 소화가 안됨
•   nausea: 메스꺼움
•   vomitting: 토함
•   vomitting blood: 피를 토함
•   poor appetite: 식욕이 없음
•   excessive hunger: 배고품을 몹시 느낌
•   excessive thirst: 갈증을 몹시 느낌
•   trouble swallowing: 음식물을 삼키는데 문제가 있음
•   stomach pain: 위통
•   swollen abdomen: 배가 부음
•   gas: 가스가 참
•   diarrhea: 설사가 남
•   constipation: 변비
•   change in bowel habit: 대변에 변화가 있음
•   dark or black stool: 대변이 검게 나옴

3. 통증 (Pain)

•   abdominal: 복부가 아픔

•   burning on voiding: 소변볼 때 느끼는 불편
•   crampy: 싸르르한 아픔
•   chest pain: 가슴 통증
•   difficulty walking: 걷는데 불편
